As the Director of Almaty International School, it is my privilege to welcome you to our school and website. Quality Schools International (QSI) is a non-profit organization with 35 schools in 29 countries. Our school is in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We serve children from multiple countries through mastery learning with an American curriculum. In addition, we provide a place for families to connect and nurture relationships.

QSI schools maintain high academic rigor with equal emphasis on the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and Success Orientations in an accepting, friendly and supportive environment. AIS is a warm and welcoming, multi-cultural community. Our students, parents, teachers and support staff have one goal in mind . . . success for all!

For over 25 years, AIS has been a fixture in the international community of Almaty. Our families expect a rigorous, high quality educational program to prepare for the challenges of an ever-changing global environment. Our students have achieved tremendous success over the years and have been accepted to the top colleges and universities around the world. AIS offering Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone Diploma Program helps distinguish our students in a competitive academic environment.

Our many after school activities along with music and sports programs provide our students with opportunities to achieve beyond the traditional classroom setting. Student involvement is encouraged as this helps to provide a full educational experience.

Our Pre-school and Elementary programs provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. The learning process can be challenging and rigorous while being age-appropriate in response to the cognitive and social development of each child. Our highly qualified teachers set high expectations for each student and provide the resources, environment, and support needed for success.
